Rebecca Bardach has worked with international migration, conflict management, and community development for more than twenty years.  She managed refugee assistance programs in Hungary, Bosnia and Israel from 1994-2002 and then helped found and manage JDC’s Center for International Migration and Integration from 2002-12. She led resource development and strategy at Hand in Hand’s network of integrated schools and communities, which grew from three schools to six during her eight years there (2012-20).

Rebecca is a Schusterman Senior Fellow, and has an MPA in Public Policy and International Development from NYU, and a BA in English Literature from Columbia University. She contributes periodically to the Times of Israel and other media and is currently working on a book on Jewish-Arab shared society in Israel. She and her family live in Jerusalem.
