Dana is the founder and director of the Israeli NGO Women and their bodies.

The organization was founded in 2005 and works to promote the health and wellbeing of Israeli women and girls. Dana has an MA in Anthropology and Gender Studies from Hebrew University, for which she completed a thesis entitled, “Israeli Women’s Experience in their routine Gynecological Examination”.

She was Coordinator of the University’s Lafer Center for Women’s Studies from 1996 to 2000, and has been a lecturer on gender and health since 1996. Between 1999 and 2007 Dana was Director of the School for Political Leadership for Women, and in 2005 she established “Women and Their Bodies”, a unique multi-cultural organization of Israeli women – Jewish and Palestinian – that empowers women to become self-health advocates. In 2007 Dana received a Social Entrepreneur Fellow from the Israel Venture Network.

In addition, Dana graduated the Hebrew university program for group facilitator studies in 2006 and works as a consulter and facilitator of staff and various groups. In 2018 Dana graduated the Vintage institute and she is a certified Yoga teacher.
